Amanda qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and specialises in Family Law such as Divorce, Children’s Matters and Financial Claims.
Amanda is a member of Resolution, an organisation which is committed to the resolution of family disputes in a non-confrontational manner.
Amanda set up New Leaf Solicitors in 2012 and she is the Principal Solicitor. She receives many positive testimonials from her clients and many clients continue to refer their friends and family to Amanda.
Kelly Bruton joined the firm in 2017 as a consultant solicitor having previously headed up the family law team at a Hampshire law firm. Kelly is based in Fareham, Hampshire and she covers the South East of England but she also has clients throughout the UK and abroad.
Kelly qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and she has over 9 years’ experience dealing with all aspects of family law. Kelly specialises in divorce and financial settlements and children matters. Kelly has experience of dealing with high net worth financial settlements and in view of her close proximity to HMS Collingwood and HMS Sultan, she regularly acts for members of the Armed Forces. Kelly is also experienced in dealing with separation and co-habitation (Living Together Agreements).
In recognition of her high level of knowledge, experience and expertise in relation to children matters, Kelly has been awarded the Law Society’s Children Law accreditation.
Kelly has significant experience in child residence and contact matters, including applications where the child has either already been removed to a different country/jurisdiction or the parent is seeking to re-locate to a different country. Kelly regularly acts for grandparents wishing to retain contact with their grandchildren following the divorce or separation of the child’s parents. She also assists grandparents who are caring for their grandchildren and wish to apply for a Special Guardianship Order or Child Arrangements Order.
With a strong background in property law, Kelly also acts for clients in respect of cohabitation or property disputes between unmarried couples. She also deals with applications for financial provision for children of unmarried couples.
Kelly is a member of Resolution which means she encourages clients to deal with family law disputes in a non-confrontational and constructive way.
Kelly is approachable and dedicated to providing the very best service to her clients. Outside of work Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, including her young son, and therefore she understands the importance of being a parent. Kelly is also a keen ice figure skater.
Francine joined the team in 2018. She works alongside Amanda in the Rugby office. Francine studied Law at the University of Warwick where family law was her favourite subject and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2013. In her previous role as a lawyer she worked for the National Union of Teachers (NUT) representing teachers who had been assaulted/injured in the course of their employment.
Francine loves bringing order to things and her favourite part of her job is doing the best for her clients. Outside of work Francine is a keen runner, cook and chicken keeper.

You will need to have a passion for family law and possess exceptional client care skills. Ideally you will need to be at least 10 years PQE and have no claims made against you. You will have access to our IT systems via the cloud thereby allowing you to work from your own home or office working the hours that suit you and we will cover your indemnity insurance.
